Twice As Warm in the Gazette!

Another article was written about Twice As Warm! Terri from the Gazette interviewed me a few weeks ago, and this article was published! Scroll to the middle of the article and you’ll see it.

Here are some highlights from the article:

Helping others keep warm

Wanting to embark on a project to help others, Lieberman, 24, recently launched Twice As Warm in his parent’s basement.

Inspired by the model used by Tom’s Shoes, where one pair of shoes is donated for each one purchased, Lieberman has set a goal of giving away 50 scarves, 50 hats and 50 pairs of gloves by the end of this month.

Lieberman designed the items, which are made from chenille and come in one size and two colors. Each item features a woven label featuring the Twice as Warm logo.

For every item purchased, an identical item will be donated to a local person in need.

“We are half-way there, and have mostly hats left,” he said. “At some point, I’d love to offer other items such as sweatshirts. If this goes well, I will move on to larger goals.”

Lieberman is working with the Interfaith Works Clothing Center to identify people in need. He said plans for a Giving Party to distribute the items are in the works.]
