The National Center for Children and Families
Recently we were able to give 36 brand new Twice As Warm winter hats to children and families in need at the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF). These are families that are receiving help from the Rapid Re-housing program within the NCCF.
Erin Futrovsky is a Case Manager at the Rapid Re-Housing program and helped us make sure that these families would receive new winter hats.
Erin says,
“The reactions from our clients were completely priceless when they received the donation from Twice as Warm! A lot of our families are unable to afford new winter accessories and were extremely humbled and appreciative to receive these stylish and comfortable hats. When I explained the mission of Twice as Warm to our clients, the response was an overwhelming sense of gratitude to Brian for choosing our program as the recipients of this donation.”
About the NCCF
Since 1915, NCCF’s mission has been driven by a great sense of community responsibility for vulnerable children and their families. Today, NCCF’s residential programs serve homeless families, victims of domestic violence, and vulnerable adolescents. Other programs include treatment foster care, social services for family reunification, parenting education, and transitional housing to promote independent living and family stabilization.
