First Clothing Drop Off

Posted on by Brian Lieberman

On December 23rd, we dropped off 60 clothing items to the Interfaith Work Clothing Center and Community Vision.

Community Vision is an outreach and day program with a broad range of services to the street homeless of Montgomery County. The larger agency of Interfaith Works, through its multiple programs serves 30,000 low-income and homeless people each year. The winter hats, gloves, and scarves will be helping people that truly needed them.

Mary, the Program Director wrote a very kind Thank You letter. She wrote,

“We are, of course, extremely grateful that you made the Community Vision program of Interfaith Works a recipient of your generosity. We guarantee that the men and women who receive the 10 donated ensembles of brand new, luxurious chenille hat, gloves, and scarf will be extremely grateful as a result.”

This would not have been possible without your help and support. I can’t thank you enough. I’d like to also thank my parents and Ric MacPherson for their help and advice.

The first clothing drop off was exciting and inspiring. It was exciting to see that the hard work and support from everyone made an impact in the lives of others. I’m inspired to help as many people as we can. Can’t wait to see what we’re able to accomplish in 2011!

Thanks,

Brian Lieberman
